Veggie Delight

I would have never in my life looked at the menu at subway and ordered a veggie delight, but man was it good.  I asked for my onions and bell peppers to be toasted with the bread and cheese and it made all the difference.  Before I could have never been full off of a meal that did not have meat in it, but more recently my body works easily off of less meat, and that nice.  I really love to have yogurt and strawberries.  It’s quick simple and has enough calories to work as a small meal.    So I will delight in my veggies and keep loving them.

Sweet Success

Well, I have to get my blood pressure checked once per week at the doctor, and I just take the time to weigh when I am there too.  The doctor weight is now my weekly weigh in.  Since I was diagnosed with high blood pressure around a month ago I was required to get blood test, and thankfully everything also turned out good.  I was really scared that I might be diagnosed with diabetes.  My dad, Aunt, Uncle, and cousin all have blood sugar problems, and I have too in the past.  So, this for once was a good doctors trip.  Also, last week they took me off of the diuretic part of my bp meds and thankfully I feel much better and my bp is still good.   My last success this week is I have gotten used to bananas.  I can eat them in oatmeal with peanut butter if they are mashed up, and that’s a wonderful start for me.  I am armed and ready to start my next week working out, eating right, and just kicking ass.  I am now 19 pounds down from the beginning of February and ready to hit my first mini goal of 278 next week.    After that it’s on to 249.

Excited and nervous

This semester in school has pretty much zoomed by, and with very little weight loss unfortunately.  I feel like even though the scaled has not gone down much,  I have learned a lot.  I am excited to report that I took measurements in July, and as of last week I am down basically an inch everywhere but the chest, but the really great ones was down 4.5 inches in my waist.  I was very excited about that.  I want to get under the 35″ baseline to reduce your risks for diabetes.  Anyways,  tomorrow it my first weigh in since I have had the body bugg and according to its measurements I am in for some weight loss.  I would love to see that scale move downward.

Feeling Amazing!

On Thursday I received my 24 hour fitness body bugg in the mail, and I did not realize that in that small brown box was such a powerful motivator.  When I want  to eat something that I might not want to it really makes me stop and think.  Do I want to log this into the system and push me over my calorie allotment?  Since the program that it uses puts in the calories burned from the data uploaded from the body bugg and your calories consumed together where you can see it.  It really makes me think.  Should I keep sitting on the couch or get up off my butt and get some more steps in?  I have adopted a just do it kind of attitude, and it’s really making me feel better because I am being more productive, and I never realized home much better I feel when the house is clean and things are done.  I will be getting off now b/c I have just gotta do my studying for my test tomorrow.

finding a good doctor

I was wondering if anyone has tips on finding a good doctor.  I am really having problems with getting ass holes.

My bodybugg

I am really excited about the body bugg that I just bought.  It’s interesting to see how it works.  I like to see the instant feed back from my efforts and it challenges me to do more and keep going.  We will see how everything goes.  It also really makes me think about what I eat before because I have to log it into the program.

choices

If you don’t choose to make a different choice then no one can help you.

A Great Though

Every time you sit down to eat remember this is not your last meal.  Another one is just a few hours away.

Dance Dance Revolution

I used to love this game.  I would play for about an hour a day, and what an amazing workout it was.  I quit playing this when I moved into a high rise dorm and did not want to torture my neighbors, and after that it just became a habit to not play.  It has sat in a box since 2007, and I finally busted it back out this weekend.  I love it.  I played for 45 minutes this evening, and I am not quite as good as I used to be, but I still have it.  I am ready to add this to my exercise routine and get moving again because I have really been struggling in this area.

Two days

It has not been two full days of eating on the straight and narrow, and it’s nice.  When I stray my body get’s angry.  It’s just amazing to see how different foods give you different amounts of energy, stomach pain, and keep you full.  I am ready to make it day number three.  Have a great day everyone.
