challenge/personal goal statement

I have a weight loss buddy that I met on another site, and we text message to keep in touch and support each other.  In her weight loss journey she is seeing a doctor every three months for weight ins.  Her next appointment is in seven weeks on 8/28 and she has 16 pounds to loose.  When we were discussing this I realized that I never set goals for myself to attain by a certain date, and that is interesting.  I know when you make an action plan you always set a time line, and I think I was always afraid to fail.  Well, the reality is that I ahve lost 12 pounds since January.  I know that I could have lost more, but the reality is that is what I have lost, and I have kept from yo yoing in that time period, and that is an accomplishment.  I can loose weight.  So, in support of her next weigh in I will join her in her goal.  I am 287.2 as of yesterday evening, and I hope to be at 270 or 271 by her weigh in.  To help with that I am going to joing up with MJ’s July to September Challenge that is kicking off this Sunday, and I am excited about it.

For her challenge you get points or loose points for working toward your personal goal.  My personal goals for this time will be:

1. Soda days are Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday.

2. My dogs get a walk at least 5 days per week.

3. I can have one donut on Saturday and one on Sunday, and I may have one small chocolate milk on Sunday.  (I work in a donut shop on the weekends and it’s difficult)

Starting again

I will start today with a weight in and measurements.  Weigh in is 288.8 pounds and my measurements are Chest 52.5″   Waist 48.25″    butt 53″     Thighs:    legs together 50.5″      Left 32″    Right 33″   Arms:  Right19.75    Left 19″  I have fallen off the wagon, and I have chosen today to weigh and measure in and get back on track.  I started off the morning with a trip to the grocery store to stock up on healthy options.  If anyone has any suggestions to help with the fatigue during your period I would love to hear them.  That is when I really struggle because I get so tired.
