Summer Goal

To start off I have made it through the weekend with out a weight gain, and that is super good seeing as I work at a donut shop.  I will spare you the details of the severity of my temptations there.  My goal this summer is to really focus on my weight loss.  I am out of school for the summer and only working.  I really want to get my eating and my exercise in line with each other, and I am off to a great start.  I have been doing water workouts in addition to my normal dog walking duties, and I feel great.  I cannot wait to give it another week and see what the results are on the scale.  I hope everyone is doing really great, and I hope to need a new swim suit by the end of the summer.

Celebrate

I am excited.  I am down another two pounds.  I am really excited.  I have not been doing 100 percent on my eating, but it is encouraging to see the scale keep going down with my exercise.  In January I was 299 what a shock at the doctor, but It is going down finally.

Back Away from the Cookie!

This morning I woke up, and I was ready to be focused about my eating decisions today.  I sat on the back steps with my dogs for a little bit, and I felt my resolve begin to weaken.  Oh, but I could go get a donut.   Then I saw my comments that I got on my blog about struggling, and I resolved to go make some oatmeal and fruit when I looked down and saw a package of do si dos with only two cookies left.  Thankfully I was able to focus on the comments and get through it.  So to everyone out there reading this.  You can back away from the cookie.  Hope everyone has a great day.

Struggling

I am having a difficult time getting the eating and the exercising down.  It seems like just about the time I get one on track the other ones slips.  Anyone have any tips that will help get me focused in the morning to help make sure I stay on track.

Getting started with buddyslim

I have been using the website www.weightlossbuddy.com, and it’s very similar to this site, but it’s glitchy and does not work very well.   When I started there I was weighing in at 294, and I currently weigh in at 290. This has been a struggle, but I feel good.  I recently purchased The Biggest Loser Jump Start book, and I love it.  It’s a great guide for how much of different foods you should be eating during the day.  I have a long way to reach my goal, but I am ready to make the change.  This summer I have a reduced work schedule since I am a college student I will not be taking classes.  I really want to focus and make a good start toward my goal.  Wish me luck!!  Anyone interested in being a buddy add me and let me  know your story.  I am up for email, texting, or just using this site to keep in touch.  Stay focused and love what your body can do.
